I was in GB, bitch!

Not only did we go to Great Britain, we also saw the most awesome stuff there is to see. At least as much as is possible in two weeks time. We skipped Stonehenge because we had an accidental spectacular view from the traffic jam on the road next to it. Instead, we took the great houses head on, making ourselves comfortable. Places from Harry Potter were visited, just as those from the great Pooh and Jane Austen. The countryside was a sight of its own and the weather was mostly sunny and when it was not, it was at least spectacular. In the very end we snug in a little visit to my home of three years and it greeted us from it's best side. Could we ask for more?

Gone Going

Finally, I managed to finish up my Bachelor. One last day in Groningen was filled with deregistering and collecting documents as well as shopping and a last evening in M.'s and Mr. G's kitchen. It's a little surreal to think that this chapter is closed now. Happily at least one university in Saxony will have me and I hope that lots of my Groningen friends will step by.

Updates with some pictures from lovely England will be here soon.

More Improv

Yes, it seems like weeks ago, but I thought i'd still share this foto. Along with a quote I heard during the 'Drunk Ho-Chi-Ha':

"If a ho is said in the forest, is it heard?" -  "Or whatever is said in the forest, stays in the forest?"

Bad Advertisment

As a kid, I loved to watch advertisement on my grandma's TV. I still appreciate good ads, but I also see a lot of bad, bad stuff. Who doesn't hate the shouty ads? Also, every ad for women's hygiene products. Anyways. I do not really know what to make of this "Staring is Caring" ad. As far as I understand it, you buy their shoes or skirts and they help people affected by AIDS and HIV. So far so good, but how is staring helping in any way? Buying the stuff helps, not staring at the people wearing it, right? I don't get it. Yeah and the last two are just some straight forward offensive ads from Germany.

I have to tidy up

I really need a guinea pig. Check out this hilarious twitter #whereismyguinea.
